Professor JWM Chapman
Writer, publisher, editor and broadcaster who studied at the universities of St.Andrews, Oxford and Chicago. Was lecturer at the University of Sussex and professor of international relations at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto. Founding editor of the journal Japan Forum and currently hon. senior research fellow in the Scottish Centre of War Studies at the University of Glasgow. Organic hill farmer in Galloway in summer and researcher in winter. Contributor and consultant to various programmes in BBC, NHK and NBC documentaries.
